MONTENEGRO SHIPPING LINES (MSL) provides a regular, around-the-clock ferry service to Abra de Ilog, Occidental Mindoro. MSL-ferries depart Batangas at 2am, 6am, 10am, 2pm, 6.30pm and 10pm. Munting Buhangin Beach is only a 45-minutes outrigger boat ride (BANKA) away from White Beach, Puerto Galera. Your boat trip will lead along the picturesque coast with its many pristine white beaches and mountainous background. Puerto Galera can now also be reached along the newly consturcted Highway.
Batangas Port has several ferry companies that offer trips to Puerto Galera. You can choose to ride a regular ferry or a fast craft. Popular ones are Montenegro and Island Water. The earliest time of departure is at 6:00 AM.
Travel time from Manila to Batangas by land is an average of one to two hours through SLEX and STAR Expressway. Bring your own car and park either at D&D parking or at the pier itself. There are many bus rides to Batangas leaving from Cubao or Alabang as well.
